Cold Months, PM Remembers the Time When He Got Married

Kratie: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, started in his speech by recalling when he got married during the Khmer Rouge regime in the cold months like it is now.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mekong River Bridge from Chit Borey District to Prek Prosop District in Kratie Province on the morning of January 2, 2023, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that “compared to current weddings, their wedding was not big”.

"At the same time, 12 couples married and almost could not find a place to sleep", he said.

Prime Minister Hun Sen married Bun Rany Hun Sen on January 5, 1976, during the Khmer Rouge regime and has kept their love alive and strong.

The love between Hun Sen and Bun Rany Hun Sen is an example to the people that they are a loving, caring couple and protect each other.

Hun Sen often expressed his love for Bun Rany Hun Sen on his own Facebook page and wrote a book about their love life entitled "Unbreakable Legend" to commemorate his struggle and dedication to his love.
